In Jamalpur police station, a case of blackmailing by the lover by luring the girlfriend into the trap of love and then having physical relations with her has come to light. The arrested accused lover has been identified as Devraj, son of Sanjay Kumar Pandit, resident of Bageshwari village of Shampur OP area under Haveli Kharagpur police station. The victim girl told the police that she was called by Devraj to the hotel in Jamalpur. After reaching there, Devraj tried to have physical relations with the girl.
Narrated his ordeal to the police
However, when the girl refused, Devraj first beat the girl. After that, while showing the video of physical relationship, he asked to bring one lakh rupees. The accused said that if the money was not brought then the video would be made viral on social media. After which the girl ran to Jamalpur police station and narrated her ordeal to the police.
Police station in-charge gave information
Regarding this entire matter, Jamalpur police station incharge Gautam Kumar said that on the statement of the victim girl, a case has been registered under case number 22/24 and the accused Devraj has been arrested.
